MEDIATION AS A WAY OF THINKING

Why I share mediation

I am Nadav Nishri, a mediator, author and creator of the New Partnership Method. My work is guided by a belief that people can learn to meet disagreement with greater understanding and build a more peaceful future together.

Through my mediation practice with families, couples and business partners, I have explored how people can move through difficult conversations and develop agreements they can live with. Those encounters are the foundation of the method I teach.

My personal story

I was born in Nazareth in 1980. I am a father to two daughters and share my life and work at Nishri Mediators with my wife, Noga. My family has roots in Brazil, Ukraine, Georgia, Hungary, Bulgaria, Poland, Israel and Italy. Encounters between different cultures, identities and stories are part of the home I come from.

As a teenager, I lived for several years on the shores of the Sea of Galilee. That experience strengthened my independence and my desire to see people beyond their positions and labels. Throughout my life, I have taken part in promoting dialogue and encounters between communities, including Jews and Arabs, and religious and secular communities.

From law studies to mediation

I first encountered mediation during my law studies. I was looking for a professional path through which I could help people build bridges and reach understanding. I read, studied and began developing my mediation practice across Israel.

I hold an LL.B. from Ono Academic College and an M.A. in Conflict Resolution from Bar-Ilan University. Alongside work with couples, families and business partners, I continued exploring how to make mediation structured, accessible and sensitive to people’s experiences. The New Partnership Method grew from that connection between learning and practice.

03

From practice to a method people can learn

New Partnership brings together emotional understanding, practical realities and a focus on the future. I share it because I want more people to have access to tools they can take into their own lives.

I hold an LL.B. in Law and an M.A. in Conflict Resolution. My writing and teaching grow from the connection between study and work with people facing real disagreements.

Writing and teaching

I am the author of Get Divorced in Peace, New Partnership and Mediation as a Martial Art. Each book offers a different perspective on working through disagreements and building better relationships. Through writing and teaching, I share what I have learned in the mediation room and offer readers and learners tools for listening, understanding and reaching agreements in everyday life.

The 10-lesson online course offers an introduction to the world of mediation and the New Partnership Method. My ambition is to make that starting point accessible in as many languages as possible.

The future I hope to help build

I call this vision a reverse Tower of Babel: people speaking different languages while finding ways to understand one another. I hope learners will use what they discover independently and share useful ideas within their communities.

This site is an invitation to get to know that work, think with me and begin learning.
