Mediation as a way of thinking and living

Learn mediation. Open a conversation. Pass the light on.

Every day we meet people who think differently from us: at home, at work and in our communities. Sometimes those differences make us curious; sometimes they become arguments that drive us apart. Mediation tools help us understand what is happening in a conversation, what matters to each person and how to find a way forward together.

I am Nadav Nishri, a mediator, the author of three books and the developer of the New Partnership Method. I want to pass on what I have learned through years in the mediation room. That is why I created this space: so you can learn mediation in your own language, practise it in your life and help more people talk and understand one another.

A reverse Tower of Babel

I dream of a reverse Tower of Babel. People around the world continue to speak different languages, but learn to understand one another. The language of mediation lets us ask, listen and cooperate even when our views and cultures differ. Translating this knowledge into more languages is how I am beginning to make that dream a reality.

02

Small conversations matter

A child comes home upset. A colleague does not keep an agreement. A neighbour does something that bothers us. In those moments, we can stop and find out what happened before reacting. A precise question and attention to the answer can change how a conversation develops. That is where change begins.

03

A practical place to begin

In the introductory course, I teach the foundations of mediation and the New Partnership Method in ten lessons. We explore what lies behind a disagreement, how to identify needs and how to ask questions that help us move forward. You can start practising what you learn in the conversations that already matter to you.

Knowledge that stays with you

Mediation knowledge becomes meaningful when we use it. Choose one tool you have learned, try it in a real conversation and notice what changes. Keep practising and share what helped you. This is how the ability to understand and cooperate passes from person to person, reaching more homes, workplaces and communities.

One conversation can be a beginning.

I invite you to learn, practise and pass the language of mediation on.
